In 2009, I was commissioned by El Museo del Barrio to design and make the new Three Kings. The new kings bring to life the culture and cosmology of the Taino culture -the original people of the Caribbean- in a celebration of color, nature and myth. These giant puppets are 14 feet tall and move gracefully every January 6th on the streets of Spanish Harlem.
